Above:
Steve Thielke (left) and Mark Schmidt discuss
a design project in the KSA conference room at our office
is Madison, WI. Mark is a partner in the firm and head
of the design department. Steve supervises two teams
of architectural technicians in preparing design development
and construction documents. In this and coming newsletters
we give you a little background on our team members.
Mark
Schmidt: Born in Waupun, WI; graduated from Oakfield
High School and the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
School of Architecture. He enjoys meeting people and
helping them realize their goals in building design.
He likes designing for veterinarians because he finds
they are generally very nice people. Mark relaxes by
cross-country skiing and woodcutting in the winter,
canoeing and landscaping his yard in the summer. His
favorite colors are green and brown, he listens to bluegrass,
jazz, and classical, plays guitar and bass, and has
fun making music with his family.

philosophy of each doctor, and the number of small clinics
and hospitals out there. He relaxes by water skiing
and golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter.
